This full-time benefits-eligible one-year Middle School interim position is based on the Washington, DC, campus and will begin in August 2024. Reporting to the Middle School Principal, this role is primarily responsible for teaching English and advising a group of 7th and 8th grade students. Other responsibilities include writing student reports three times a year, attending annual parent-teacher conferences, effectively communicating and collaborating with students, colleagues, and families, attending meetings, performing duties such as lunch and break duty, and collaborating with Science colleagues in the Middle School and other divisions. The omission of specific responsibilities does not preclude duties logically related to the position from being assigned. Qualifications & Requirements
