Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school, seeks a part-time seasonal Swimming & Diving Middle School Head Coach for the Washington, D.C. campus. Leading with Sidwell Friends School (SFS) values, the Head Coach reports to the Varsity Swimming & Diving Head Coach and Athletics Director and is responsible for initiating various aspects of the Swimming & Diving Program such as recruiting Sidwell athletes; scheduling opponents; training and coaching the Varsity team; training and coaching student-athletes; participating in the selection and evaluation process for seasonal assistant coaches; participating in professional development activities that add value to their coaching performance; attending mandatory meetings, other training, and SFS community programming. Required Qualifications
As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will complete and clear a background and fingerprint screening before the first day of work. Upon hire, they will obtain CPR Certification, First Aid training, Bus training, and other requirements immediately, upon hire. Compensation
