US Accommodations Coordinator

Department: Upper School
Location: Washington, DC
Position Start Date: Immediately
Status: Part-Time

Sidwell Friends School a co-educational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, MD, is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a part-time (10 hours per week) Upper School Accommodations Coordinator in partnership with the Academic Support and Counseling Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Review new psychoeducational/neuropsychological evaluations and write Instructional Notes for teachers.
  • Coordinate documentation and submit accommodations requests for standardized testing.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in special education or psychology and/or relevant training to identify appropriate academic supports for students with learning-based disabilities.
  • Experience reviewing psychoeducational and neuropsychological testing.
  • Experience in a high school environment, preferred.

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate $36.00-$42.00. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
